Our team is caring and kind, and everyone who walks through the door is greeted as a friend. We enjoy each other’s company while we work and we love what we do, so the atmosphere in our office always feels warm and friendly. If you’re looking for a dental office where you’ll feel welcomed and comfortable, our team would love to meet you!

Alissa grew up in Napa, CA. Her favorite thing about her job is helping patients feel at ease and being a part of their journey to a healthy, confident smile. Alissa has been married to her husband, Mark, for 10 years, and they have two daughters who keep them very busy. Their family also includes a yellow lab named Abby, a miniature pinscher named Minnie, and an orange tabby cat called Mr. Bojangles. When she's not at the office, you can find Alissa horseback riding, hiking, fishing, camping, and going to Air Force football games.

Rachel is originally from Texas and has been in Colorado Springs for the past two years. She started her dental career in Hawaii where she worked both the front and back office. Using her past experience as a dental assistant along with her knowledge of dental insurance, she is a great resource for our office when it comes to helping patients understand and maximize their benefits. When she’s not at work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, hiking, camping, and gardening.

Whitney is one of our rock star employees who is our patient care coordinator/dental assistant. She is a jack of all trades in our office and is always willing to help out wherever she is needed. Whitney has a crazy obsession with houseplants and her house looks like a jungle. When she’s not at work or watering her plants she enjoys do-it-yourself projects and crafts.

Darryl is one of our fabulous hygienists here. Darryl grew up in Nashville, Tennessee and moved to Colorado 4 years ago. He served 5 years as an M1A1 Tanker in the US Army with 2 deployments to Iraq.  While working toward a nursing degree he discovered his passion for Dental Hygiene and made this his new career.  Darryl has a 9 year old son who he enjoys building legos with. Darryl also likes to spend his time working out and hiking.

Amelia is one of our amazing dental assistants. She was born and raised in Alaska and moved to Colorado in 2019 with her sister. In her spare time Amelia enjoys baking yummy treats and sharing them with the office. She also enjoys reading and watching sports and practicing MMA. Amelia has an Italian Greyhound named Deno that is still living in Alaska with her parents.

Jen is our Lead Dental Assistant. She is a hard worker and takes great pride in all that she does. Jen moved to Colorado in 2017 from Belvidere, IL with her husband and 2 children Luis and Jaliya. She is a huge Chicago Bears fan! In her free time she enjoys taking pictures of her children and dog Desmond. You may see her photography skills in the office doing before and after pictures of patients.

Megan is one of our phenomenal hygienists here at Kissing Camels Family Dentistry. She is a Colorado native but has traveled around a lot. Megan got her start in dentistry as a volunteer dental assistant on Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany. When she’s not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter Susie going hiking, antiquing and doing house projects.

Rey is a Catahoula Leopard/Hound mix. She was born in Louisiana and then Dr. Boals adopted her in Colorado Springs. She is a wild pup who loves snuggling! Rey loves playing with her sister Mila, as well as going on hiking/fishing adventures.

Mila is a Catahoula Leopard/Aussie mix. She was found on the street in Tennessee. Dr. Boals adopted Mila in Illinois. She is a sweet girl who loves to talk. With the softest fur, if you ever see here, make sure to give her a pet! Mila loves hiking/fishing with her family and rolling in the snow.
